Nowadays everyone seems to have a website. It is not hard to do it yourself, you might think. It takes some research before you really get your own website up and running have it a way you would want. (See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_development for more information.)
Google appears to have some free services that are ideally suited to quickly build a website and put it online without having to make all kinds of investments. This makes it possible to easily create a lot of experience with building a website and all related activities.
All that is needed to get to the tools of Google is a Google Account that easily can be requested via the Google page if you already do not have one.
Using the Google Sites service, you will literally have a site online in a minute. It’s really a matter of:
- Name for your website (Google will probably check that it does not exist)
- Short description fill
- Choose the background of your site
- Verification Code fill
After this you jump straight to the (now empty) home page of your website, where you can start to be filled. Saving the page leads to your website instantly online. From this moment through the options menu right of the screen you can also add the additional pageas to your site or other actions which include some basic settings for your site do under the ‘Manage Site’.
